When I go shopping, I I end up smashing fruits like blueberries, strawberries and raspberries in my bag. So I made crochet fruit baskets for shopping.
I used thick cotton yarn.
I made another beach hat with a black yarn, the same design as the red one I made previously.
Love this simple design!
I made my second beach hat.
I used a washi (Japanese paper) yarn. It is paper but it acts almost the same as straw. Washi is used for tatami mats (Japanese straw flooring mats) as substitute for straw.
It took a while before I got used to crocheting with this yarn but I love it.
Hannah is wearing it but this one is mine.
I made a hat for myself (Hannah modeled for the pic.)
I used Hamanaka Eco Andaria which is made with 100% biodegradable material. I purchase a lot of knitting tools and materials from Hamanaka. By doing so, I can support the company that the headquarter is located in Kyoto, my hometown. Also I love their products!
I bought some OPAL summer sock yarns from KFS and made some toeless socks for this summer. My heels get really dry and get cracks if I don’t wear socks (even though I put moisturizer) so I always need to wear socks. Toeless socks are great when I wear beach sandals during summer.
This is my third one.
The yarn is OPAL sock yarn but this ‘Zebra’ is sold only by KFS
This is my Martina’s Haramaki (Belly Warmer) Cap #2.
I made a Haramaki Cap (haramaki means belly warmer in Japanese.), using OPAL sock yarn sold at KFS Maritina’s shop
It is a long tube, you can use as different purposes: a belly warmer, knit cap, and neck warmer.
